Vince really shines here, one of the last really beautiful versions. Like the metaphor of No Peaks... No sense of urgency, just mellow, gorgeous Valleys, which was how it usually went in the 90s.... Despite the insane heat, this was one of he coolest venues to see them... That ridiculous, blazing, endless desert.... As the Heads descended on Vegas....

Absolutely gorgeous! Nearly as nice as the 11/4/77 Eyes at Colgate, with not quite the same outrageous sense of urgency as that one... And yep, into a savage Samson.....
