Bobby and Jerry trade licks scorchingly! Hot!!! They continue ripping into a ridiculous China-Rider! Hot show after the death of Bob Marley.

Entire show resonates with the ghost of Marley! At once succinct and jammy!

The sense of urgency is spectacular. Listen to the top 10 or so and become utterly confused as to which is 2nd, 3rd, 4th, but this is close (for me, 9/3/77 will always be first... it simply suffers from the same stuff 5/8/77, etc., suffers from... Too much hype... it needs to be experienced with no expectations... It'll hit you when you least expect it...)

Scorchingly excellent.

Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
Sept. 19, 1990
Madison Square Garden

First one after Brent's death. 10th show without him. Franklin's bounces with energy, then fades out poignantly in the end, as if they had a moment where they suddenly realized this just might work..... And it did. For a while. Often. Powerful show.
