Sugaree
June 13, 1980
Seattle Center Coliseum
Ebbs, flows & builds! Feels kinda funny to mention after chats of '77 Sugarees and Alaska a week away but this whole show is brilliant!

Crazy Fingers
Aug. 13, 1975
Great American Music Hall
Like the Help-Slip-Frank on this night, this is just about as close to perfection as they've ever been, which is always a bit Weird, when they really don't miss a note. Definitely a toss up between this and the Beacon.... But I might love the Beacon a little more for it's roughness!!!
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
May 9, 1977
War Memorial
For some crazy reason, I'll always take this (and a whole bunch of others) over the Great American, which is so perfect, I know. But maybe that's why... Great American is just a little... too perfect.... Absurd, I know!!!
Pretty Peggy O

Huntington Civic Center
WoW!!! Great beauty. As is 5/9/77. Totally amazing. Still gotta say 9/3/77 is the greatest Peggy-O ever (DP 15). Like most great ones, it doesn't have just a few powerful moments. It's powerful throughout. One of the few versions of anything I can say is my absolute, all time favorite (along with the Half Step from that show, and the He's Gone-NFA....). Sick show. A lot of Heads from the Bronx at that one in Englishtown...
Wharf Rat

Veterans' Memorial Coliseum
Scorching.
He's Gone
May 12, 1981
Veterans' Memorial Coliseum
One of the best. Coda chant with the crowd will send chills. Less than a week after dedicating it to Bobby Sands this one goes out to Bob Marley. A different sort of version, just as powerful, with a different sort of jam into drumz. Wild and mellow. Very cool sorta Miracle-Other-Jam. Magnificent.
