Uncle John's Band

Fiery, galloping build up. Maybe this was overshadowed by the 9/19 version, but this one rips.

Stella Blue
Sept. 15, 1990
Madison Square Garden

Jerry flubs the cheap hotel, but it's OK. His guitar makes up for it. Check out last couple minutes. Builds beautifully. Just a notch below 9/19.

Scorching. Just flipping through the 1990 Garden run. Surprised this ain't here already. Bruce's 1st official night as a member of the band.

Weird one for sure. Starts as Spanish Jam, Bobby has a great notion, throws in O1 lyrics. Always good pair. Into Stellar Stella Blue-GDTRFB-Around...

The Other One
Oct. 20, 1989
The Spectrum

Scary and powerful Other One. Made me realize there are no entries for I Will Take You Home, which is a shame. The one leading into this is a favorite. Contrary to what Others may have felt, Take You Home never interfered with the flow of a show for me. It was different for sure, and some felt it was out of place... But really, it was a beautiful Brent ballad....

This is a beast. Like most beasts, it's a bit wild and unruly, but excellent overall....

Thanks for taking one for the team!

Yep. Builds nicely with Brent at "Test me! Test me!"
