A rare and different tune. Real nice transition into epic Playin-UJB from Go to Nassau...

Stunned this ain't here yet. Next night is a famous one. But this 2nd set opener is strong and rugged. Nice moment at "born to be a bachelor..."

Wow! Can't believe this hasn't made the cut yet. Rips and roars out of poignant China Doll. Almost become a Smokestack... Super strong show!

DeadBase calls it a Dark Star Jam. There is not much of a hint of a Dark Star-ish melody, and the date is debatable. But everyone needs to hear this!!

The Other One
May 21, 1977
Lakeland Civic Center

The red-headed step kids of '77 were all these insanely tight-yet-twisted Other Ones, the ones we don't talk about all that much, but each one a force to be reckoned with. This one begins before drums, out of a formidable He's Gone. Into a Comes a Time about as delicate and towering as May 9. Entire show.... Hoooo-Whee!

Jam out into drums begins the Other One fiercely and ferociously....

Just realized.... Today is the day of the best Sugaree ever, in a month of some of the best of everything ever, especially, maybe.... Sugarees…..
