China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 15, 1987
MSG

Classic China-Rider from a great run. 9/18/87 is legendary, but this show, and a lot of the shows from this tour, just as fantastic.

In any other month in any other year, this entire show would be considered a rip-roaring classic (which it is!!). Donna is awesome.

Days Between

Raw, ragged, savage, pretty darn profound. Almost a Close Encounter out of Space... Always a gorgeous work in progress... Not the best, but....

So true! Number one, but still needs more love, out of respect for what Jerry (and the entire gang) pulls off here... Packs a ridiculous punch!! When folks ask, How did Primal Dead rock? Play this. If you’re sorta new to the Dead, have a listen. For the love of Lorna Dune.... Under 50 votes on the 50th anniversary still feels a little criminal.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Yes! Best 1984 Scarlet-Fire? Maybe....
Sugaree

Stanley Theater

Beast of a Sugaree from a beast of a show.
