Ship of Fools

Edmundson Pavilion

Jerry's voice is crisp, his playing is sharp, and Keith does a great job with atmospheric organ fills

Rip snortin' version!

Doin' That Rag
Feb. 11, 1969
Fillmore East

An extra handful of stank on the end jam puts this well above a "normal" version. Definitely worth checking out

The Other One

Fillmore East

Not the longest version (due to time restraints), but this one starts like it is shot out of a fucking cannon

Rec Hall, Penn State U

A short, incredibly dense, and interesting piece of space

Dusted off this show for the walk to work and morning's activities. Such a beautiful version here. Top shelf show all around

Oh hell yeah! Was just posting for the NFA - Excellent segment
The Music Never Stopped

Horton Field House - Illinois State University

Sorry I haven't commented on this earlier. Version is definitive - spacey, then very solid peak. Show has been one of my favorites from '78 since day 1. Excellent pick!
Casey Jones

Paramount Theatre

It cannot be overstated how incredible this jam is. Leaps and bounds the best Casey Jones around. Listen, rinse, repeat.
Here Comes Sunshine

Winterland Arena

Phew, this one is a powerhouse. Different than a lot of HCSS. My go to version has always been 12/19/73, but I will go to this version for far different reasons. Had this show since jumpstreet, but never recalled this jam. Nice post!
