The previous night's version was tasty, but this one is delicious. The nomination for this one is long overdue. The whole show is quintessential '76

Opens the first electric set from the last (and best) show from the 8 night run at NYC's Radio City Music Hall. Its nomination is long overdue!

Alert! This one not a throw-away. The best one of '74, no foolin'. Played with a perfect balance of gusto, gumption & grit.

To Lay Me Down

I also waffle between this one and 9/18/74 as favorites. But right now I'm listening to this version from this night, so I'll naturally give it the nod...

Cosmic. Ethereal. Sublime. Love the transition from Dark Star. And the coda in this Eyes is particularly inspired!

The Playin' from this night is also required listening!
Playin' In The Band

I agree with the above two comments. This version is a force to be reckoned with, and it's nearly as a good as the following night. The audio quality is hampered due to apparent water damage to the master reels, but still very listenable, nonetheless. I think this helps explain a low vote count on such a stellar version.

Although I seldom spin this tune, when I do, I reach for this one.
