The last MWP show, a cranking, heavy-duty Satisfaction as the first song of a double encore

This version was absolutely UNHINGED. WtFFF, three votes? Riding the vast wave generated by the Box of Rain bustout, this second set is the stuff dreams are made of.

So nice to have this one back in the rotation, although I was relieved when they went back to the original Barlow lyrics. Cap Centre 1990, one bust-out per night, with Brent's only bust-out, the return of "Easy to Love You" so glad the audience gave Brent''s FIRST song a huge ovation, especially in its new, more powerful version, then BTW, then Loose Lucy, which is not one of my faves, but it was good to have it back nonetheless. Best actual BTW, surprisinbgly, is one of the latest -- 07/27/1994 when they jjust absolutely killed it, Vince and Jerry throwing everything they had into it, and Bobby on accoustic.
Revolutionary Hamstrung Blues

Cumberland County Civic Center

Petersen said it was a commentary on the Reagan years and how shitty society as a whole had gotten. Some rather incendiary lines about blowing up a judge. Petersen wrote the lyrics and Phil toyed with it but never really got anywhere. In the wake of his successful duets with Brent (Keep On Growin', Gimme Some Lovin', 900,000 Tons of Steel), Lesh turned to Mydland to finish the melody. It's performed here as a Brent/Phil duet although Phil is a little hard to hear in this mix.

This song doesn't suck.

This is an absolutely UNHINGED Estimated Prophet, and I can't even imagine what it would take to top this one. MONSTER version.
