Sailor doesn't overstay its welcome or plod as it sometimes could, and Saint is given a tasteful, rocking performance that stands among the cleanest renditions out there. A+

The acoustic setting just fits this song better. I love a lot of electric versions of El Paso, but if I had to pick one version only for my desert island Dead collection, this would probably be it (as long as I could keep Veneta's connected to the Dark Star).
